Silvia Tcherassi

Silvia Eugenia Tcherassi Solano, she is an important fashion designer. She was born in Barranquilla , She was born on 21 de agosto of 1965 , Her Father was José Tcherassi Guzmán, he was a economist, also he was a governor of Atlantico from 1973 to 1974. Her mother is Vera Solano de Tcherassi.

When she was a child, she made clothes with the father’s shirts, This was a small step for her future. She was the queen of the Barranquilla's carnaval. She lived in a building in Barranquilla with her father’s family. While his parents were traveling, she stayed with her cousins, uncles, and her grandparents. She wasn´t thin but she always vain and also always knew as wore clothes.

She studied interior design at the university Autonoma del Caribe but she never studied fashion desing, the first job was in your design workshop , called Altamoda . she was a jury member of Project Runway and will launch her home line. In 2003 she was invited by the organizers to participate in the official fashion week calendar in Milan. Silvia Tcherassi has designed clothes for diferents celebrities like: Claudia Schiffer, Valeria Mazza, Izabel Goulart, Ai Tominaga y Madeleine Bloomberg.

She have husband he is Mauricio Espinosa and also have 2 childres Mauricio Espinosa and sofia Espinosa , silvia has lived in baranquilla since she was a child but she travel a lot because she have too many stores in diferents countries.

Silvia Tcherassi is now 53 years old . in this moment she is working in her collection for Colombia moda and in her stores , but also she is working in diferents in charges as wedding dresses . Is important to say that she is working with UNICEF .
